Time for a Date Night

Research has shown that date nights strengthen one’s marriage. Fall for your spouse once again in the second half of your life.

Treat your spouse to a couple’s massage at Massage Heights at The Boardwalk. Enjoy a romantic dinner at The Flying Vine, Taisho or Jaxton’s and finish the evening with a glass of wine at The Cheese Bar or a dance under the stars on the green with live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.

After dinner, enjoy a night at the movies. For the modern-movie goer, there’s a Cinemark less than ten minutes away from Towne Lake. For the more adventurous, head out to the Showboat Drive-In for a drive-in movie. Pack a blanket, snacks, and enjoy a night out.

For the early-morning riser, enjoy a Saturday morning stroll on one of Towne Lake’s lakeside walking trails or browse the monthly Farmer’s Market on Sunday mornings. Finish the morning off with a cup of coffee and brunch at Breakfast Brunch Café at The Boardwalk.

For the creative types, visit Painting with a Twist at 12344 Barker Cypress or Pinot’s Palette at 10539 Fry Rd. Date night classes are available and you and your spouse can pack a bottle of wine and snacks to share for your painting experience.
